MyBrideBook
Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of personal data collected through MyBrideBook is Naomi Chetrit (osek patour no. 336347935), Tarshish 516, Jerusalem, Israel. Privacy contact: Naomi Shelly CHETRIT — contact@mybridebook.com.
Data protection officer: none has been appointed. Send requests to Naomi Shelly CHETRIT at contact@mybridebook.com.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- Identity and the wedding: first names, wedding date and place, country, number of guests, and contact details (email, phone, address if you give them).
- Notebook content: notes, checklists, progress, budget, vendors, events, photos you add, and other information you enter in your notebook.
- Messages: messages sent through “Contact via MyBrideBook”, any attachments, and the details needed to deliver them (recipient, dates).
- Light sales follow-up (vendor leads): contact date, first name, email, category, vendor, channel, status — without using the private content of messages for that follow-up.
- Payment: what the order needs (email, purchase status). Card details, when they are used, are processed by Grow (formerly Meshulam) and are not stored by MyBrideBook.
- Technical data: session and access cookies, security logs, and what the Site needs in order to run.
notebook does not read your WhatsApp conversations and does not store the private content of WhatsApp messages. A WhatsApp click may only record that a contact was started.
3. Why, and on what basis
- To provide and secure your notebook access (contract, or steps before a contract).
- To save and sync your notebook, your messages and your preferences (contract).
- To introduce you to partner vendors and follow up requests (contract, or the legitimate interest of running the service).
- To send service emails (replies, activation) — contract.
- To meet legal duties (accounts, complaints) and keep the Site secure (legitimate interest / legal duty).
4. Who receives it
Your data may be processed, as the service needs, by:
- Vercel — hosting the Site
- Supabase — database and storage (notebook, messages, attachments)
- Resend — transactional email
- Grow (formerly Meshulam) — online payment
- Partner vendors, only for the exchanges you start with them
- Internal organising tools (spreadsheet / webhook) for VIP and lead follow-up: Google Apps Script
These providers act under their own policies and, where needed, under suitable contract clauses (including transfers outside the EU).
5. How long we keep it
- notebook access: until 40 days after the wedding date you entered, unless it is extended or you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Message threads: for as long as you have access, then another 30 days, then deletion.
- Billing data and proof of purchase: for the legal period that applies (often up to 10 years for some accounting records).
- Session and access cookies: a limited time (see Cookies).
6. Cookies
The Site mainly uses cookies or local storage that the service needs:
- session and access to the digital book
- purchase or activation token
- notebook sync
- MyBrideBook messaging identity
- language choice (so the language question is not asked again)
- a site preview (“coming soon”), when that applies
- the administration area (authorised staff only)
Data may also stay in your browser (localStorage) so the notebook can work.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to set instructions for your data after your death.
To use them: contact@mybridebook.com. You may also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or to the authority in the country where you live.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (authentication, secure cookies in production, restricted access to admin tools) to protect your data. No system is perfect: tell us at once if something looks wrong.
